Speak your mind, even if your voice shakes.

- Maggie Kuhn

You can make a difference by either speaking or just showing up

Simply stated, Numbers Count!

Public input sessions are our opportunity to be a part of the democratic process, to make our voices be heard, and hold our elected representatives accountable.

A few tips for those who would like to speak at a Public Input Session:

  • Try to arrive at least 30 minutes before the session is scheduled to start. County representatives take a sign-up for those who would like to speak and it's better to speak earlier than later.
  • Each person is given 2-3 minutes to speak. The exact time allocation is established at the start of the session.
  • At the beginning of your time allocation, you'll be asked to state your name and where you live.
  • Make your key points at the beginning of your statement....those 2-3 minutes fly by.
