In this episode we talk all about skunks – their lives and times, how to get one out of a window well and why they’re a gardener’s best friend.
The photo above is of the skunk that came to our feeder and was quite patient as I inched closer and closer for a shot.

A couple of years ago I was coming home from a late meeting. As I was turning into my drive I became aware of a black and white swirling mass slowly moving in front of the car. I finally realized it was a skunk with a large number of babies that kept crawling onto the mother’s back, falling off, and being replaced by another baby. It was an amazing sight as they slowly moved out of view.
